When You Lose ‘The View’: Co-Hosts Destroy Democrat Narrative About Trump Airstrikes "The View" co-hosts destroyed the Democrat narrative that President Donald Trump had somehow violated the War Powers Act by authorizing airstrikes on several Iranian nuclear facilities without congressional approval. During a panel discussion on Monday on the ABC talk show, the cohosts welcomed ABC News' Chief Washington Correspondent Jonathan Karl to ask about the possible "ramifications" for the president following hysterical calls to impeach Trump from Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY,) after the U.S. took out Iran's nuclear capabilities. Sunny Hostin asked Karl about the members of Congress who have called into question the "constitutionality" of the actions on Saturday, claiming he "bypassed Congress' and "potentially violated the War Powers Resolution."
