Manhunt launched for man named 'Loony Toon' after high-speed police chase Manhunt launched for man named 'Loony Toon' after high-speed police chase The fugitive was involved in a number of violent episodes with authorities, but while his name may be hilarious, police have warned that he is a dangerous criminal A police manhunt has been launched looking for a man named "Loony Toon". Police in the American state of Wisconsin launched a major operation after the fugitive, whose name really is Loony Toon, went missing. This came after several violent incidents with authorities before he went on the run. According to The Nerd Stash, 42-year-old Loony Franklin Toon - from Portland, Oregon - was driving along a highway in the city of Milwaukee. At around 2:45am, his erratic driving of a dark-coloured SUV caught the attention of a police officer who signalled for him to stop. Eventually, Loony stopped for the officer and searched him, only to find that the man had a warrant out for his arrest after he committed a felony. Despite his apparent claims that he was innocent, police immediately deployed a spike strip behind his SUV in case he tried to flee. But despite their best efforts, an exacerbated Loony opted to make his getaway, reversing into a police vehicle and then driving away. As a result, police engaged in a high-speed
