LA County Sheriff's Office Does About-Face After Insane Iran Bombing Post![]() The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department issued an apology for the "offensive" and "inappropriate" social media post Sunday lamenting the "tragic" bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities. The original post on the LASD account was made after President Donald Trump authorized the bombing of several Iranian nuclear facilities. The bizarre post from one of America's biggest counties has since been deleted, but RedState reported on it here. "Our hearts go out to the victims and families impacted by the recent bombings in Iran," the deleted post read. "While this tragic event occurred overseas, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is closely monitoring the situation alongside our local, state, and federal partners." It went on to explain that while "there are no known threats to Los Angeles County," out of an abundance of caution, "we are increasing patrol checks at places of worship and other sensitive locations throughout the county." RedState's Bonchie noted in his post: It should be noted that in the aftermath of the bombings, the Iranians claimed the nuclear sites had been evacuated days prior, so who exactly were the "victims" being mourned by the LASD? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I believe the Iranians. I'd be shocked if some soldiers weren't on site to defend against a possible Israel commando raid,
