Iranians Reportedly Coordinated Missile Attack on American Base So the Trump Administration Knew It Was Coming: ‘Nobody Was Surprised’ Axios’s Barak Ravid revealed that Iran had coordinated its attack on an American air base in Qatar ahead of time with the Qataris and “with the knowledge of the Trump administration.” Ravid made the shocking revelation shortly after American defense systems shot down the ballistic missiles fired at the key U.S. base by Iran. Ravid joined CNN after Anderson Cooper marveled that “it’s fascinating to hear Iran officially telegraphing and saying publicly to Qatar, you know, ‘We used the exact number of missiles that were used on our facilities, and this is it,’ essentially. ‘This is very targeted.
