Oh No! AOC and Other Unhinged Dems Say Trump's Iran Attack Is Clearly Grounds for Impeachment Once you got over the surprise news that Trump ordered an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities Saturday, you probably quickly realized that hysterical Democrats would come down on the wrong side of the matter, because nowadays they seem to choose the unpopular side of every 80-20 issue. Although the pre-emptive strike against the antisemitic, America-hating Islamic Republic appears to have been a spectacular success and made the world a safer place, the Usual Grouchy Subjects in the party just can’t stand to see the U.S. winning. The great philosopher and legal theorist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) immediately decided it was an impeachable offense by the commander in chief: Wow, AOC—could this be worse than the phone call he had with another head of state that you guys tried to impeach him for the first time? Because that was oh-so-dastardly. Maybe you can be the lead impeachment manager; that would be some epic theater. But she’s not the only Democrat gnashing her teeth this Saturday night; former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s failed replacement, Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), also has really hurt feelings: “First, the Trump administration bears the heavy burden of explaining to the American people why this military action was undertaken,” the feckless lawmaker wrote.
