Air India statement as officials 'party' in viral video days after plane crash disaster Air India statement as officials 'party' in viral video days after plane crash disaster The video reportedly shows a top Air India official dancing with other staff members while music blares in the background just ten days after the deadly crash that killed 270 people Air India has issued a statement and described a viral video which showed a top official partying less than 10 days after the deadly plane crash as being taken "completely out of context". Footage reportedly shows the Chief Operating Officer of Air India SATS (AISATS), Abraham Zachariah dancing with other staff while music blares in the background at a party at the firm’s Gurugam office on June 20. The Air India crash – one of the worst aviation disasters in India's history – happened shortly after a plane took-off from Ahmedabad enr oute to London Gatwick on June 12. Air India SATS is owned by Air India Ltd and Singapore-based SATS Ltd and provides airport ground handling and cargo handling services in India. It was responsible for preparing the load sheet for the doomed Boeing 787 Dreamliner – a crucial document detailing the distribution of weight on an aircraft including passengers, cargo and fuel.
