Tucker Carlson Breaks Silence With Two Words Following Trump’s Ceasefire Claim Tucker Carlson broke several days of silence to express relief on Monday after President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran. “Thank God,” wrote Carlson in a social media post after Trump announced a “Complete and Total CEASEFIRE” on Monday evening. The post was Carlson’s first on X in several days after he warned the Trump administration against getting involved in Israel’s conflict with Iran. Thank God. — Tucker Carlson (@TuckerCarlson) June 24, 2025 Carlson’s former Fox News colleague Mark Levin – a vocal supporter for war with Iran – had a different reaction to Trump’s announcement on Monday, complaining that he hated “this word ceasefire.” “Adolf Hitler wasn’t thrown a lifeline,” Levin protested. “What does an agreement look like? Does that mean the Supreme Nazi survives? Does that mean the regime survives? I guess so.” Carlson and Levin repeatedly traded jabs amid Israel’s conflict with Iran and calls from Levin and others for the Trump administration to take on a greater role in the conflict. “The real divide isn’t between people who support Israel and people who support Iran or the Palestinians. The real divide is between those who casually encourage violence, and those who seek to prevent it — between warmongers and peacemakers,” wrote Carlson in a post earlier this month.
