Trump admin ordered by court to return another wrongly deported man Trump admin ordered by court to return another wrongly deported man The Trump administration was ordered Tuesday to "facilitate" the return of a Salvadoran man who was deported to his native country mere minutes after a federal appeals court in New York ruled he shouldn't be removed from the U.S. A federal appeals court commanded the Trump administration to "facilitate" the return of a Salvadoran man who was deported last month just minutes after the same court ruled he should not be removed from the U.S. The directive, issued by judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York, demands that the government expedite the return of 31-year-old Jordin Melgar-Salmeron, according to CNN. Article continues below Melgar-Salmeron was deported in May, marking him as at least the fourth individual to have been erroneously removed from the U.S. despite court rulings or protected status. Many of these individuals ended up incarcerated in El Salvador's infamous CECOT prison, notorious for human rights abuses. The U.S. government had previously brokered a deal with El Salvador to reserve space in this prison for deported migrants.
