The New York Times Taken In By, or Conspired With(?) Deep State Hoaxers

I suspect that The New York Times' reporters were part of the conspiracy, or at least suspected that they were being fed a line of BS, but it is just possible that these reporters are so hostile and deranged that they wanted to believe this story despite its implausibility.

The claim? That Elon Musk is now being briefed on our war plans should our Cold War with China get hot.

Needless to say, if that were true it would hardly be illegal--Elon has held a Top Secret security clearance for years because he runs SpaceX, which launches some of the most secret military satellites ever built. He is already a key part of our military and intelligence world.

But plotting war with China is not part of his portfolio, and it would be unusual for him to be shown information about which he has no need to know.
