NATO Chief Drops ‘Daddy’ Remark During Trump Chat On Iran-Israel NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte garnered laughs during Wednesday’s summit in The Hague with an unexpected remark about “Daddy” discipline during a presser with President Donald Trump on the Iran-Israel ceasefire. Trump argued that both countries would now stick to the truce ― despite breaking it earlier in the week ― with a playground-style analogy. “They’re not going to be fighting each other. They’ve had it,” Trump said. “They’ve had a big fight. Like two kids at a schoolyard ... let them fight for about two, three minutes, then it’s easier to stop them.” Rutte interjected to say: “And then Daddy has to sometimes use strong language.” The NATO chief’s comment appeared to reference Trump’s “they don’t know what the fuck they’re doing” outburst on Tuesday, following news of the ceasefire collapsing. Trump agreed: “Use strong language. Every once in a while you have to use a certain word.” Watch here:
