Iran fires at US airbase in Qatar, but all missiles are shot down — as Trump mocks ‘very weak’ retaliation: ‘IT’S TIME FOR PEACE!’ Iran fired missiles at a US military base in Qatar on Monday in retaliation for US air strikes on the regime’s nuclear facilities over the weekend — a response President Trump mocked as “very weak” on social media. “CONGRATULATIONS WORLD, IT’S TIME FOR PEACE!” Trump said, capping off a barrage of Truth Social posts in the wake of Iran’s thwarted counterattack.
