Hakeem Jeffries Was Too Busy to Answer WH Call, Now Stomps His Feet and Demands Immediate Iran Briefing As RedState’s Rusty Weiss reported, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt smoked CNN Monday for their false reporting that administration officials made no attempt to alert Democrat leaders in advance of Saturday night’s attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The problem with their narrative: Team Trump did in fact alert Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and attempt to give the heads-up to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY)—but Hakeem was too busy doing who knows what to answer his phone.
