Eerie night vision footage shows B-2 stealth jets setting off to bomb Iran in ultra-secret mission Eerie new night vision footage shows B-2 bombers preparing to take off for their ultra-secret mission to strike Iran's nuclear bomb factories. Enthralling video released by the US government shows one of the delta-shaped aircraft taxiing out of a hangar in Whiteman Air Force Base Saturday night. The clip was shot after dark using a night vision lens. Lights can be seen flashing on and off in the hangar as one of the B-2s roared out of the building onto a taxiway. That jet and six others went on to drop 14 massive bunker-busting bombs on three uranium-enrichment facilities in Iran designed to develop nuclear weapons. Seven of the B-2s were later filmed landing back at Whiteman, about 73 miles southeast of Kansas City, on Sunday after a roughly 36 hour flight to strike targets in Iran. The first group of four of the stealth aircraft did a loop around the base before approaching a runway from the north, while a final group of three arrived within 10 minutes.
