The US president, 79, has taken credit for various peace deals across the globe in recent weeks. Most notably claiming responsibility for a ceasefire between India and Pakistan last month. Last night (Friday, June 20), Trump claimed to have ended a 'violent' conflict between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. After decades of fighting, the two nations have reached a draft agreement mediated by the US and Qatar, officials have confirmed. It is expected to be signed next week. Trump appears to have taken full responsibility for the deal, taking to the social network Truth Social to flaunt his achievement.
