Donald Trump has left people making the same comment after an announcement from the Oval Office on Friday (March 21).

The US President, accompanied by US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, announced plans for a new sixth-generation fighter jet costing £15.5billion ($20billion).

In a bold move, Trump even named the jet after himself, dubbing it the F47 in recognition of his term as 47th President. "The F47 will be the most advanced, capable, and lethal aircraft ever built," he declared.

"We're confident that it overpowers the capabilities of any nation." He then added: "47 is a lovely number, isn't it."

However, viewers watching a livestream of the speech were more focused on something else. Many commented on the colour of the president's skin, noting how the darker hue of his face did not match his hands.
