I think, perhaps, President Donald Trump's take on it might best be expressed as "Go big and go home." Following successful strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities on Saturday evening, Iran "retaliated" on Monday, launching missiles at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. However, reports following the attack indicated that it was largely thwarted and no significant damage was done. A senior White House official confirmed that the attack had been anticipated and that President Trump is not interested in further military engagement in the region.
